Gather the ingredients together along with your soup maker and peel & chop the butternut squash & core & chop the pepper
Roast the squash, pepper & chilli in the oven until soft (About 40 mins on medium
Add cooked ingredients to soup maker along with stock pot, garlic cloves and approx 350ml of water. Switch on the soup maker on the "smooth" setting and allow it to work its magic
Season to taste, Enjoy the finished product, Freezes well

With the 1.6l version of the Morphy Richards soup maker, the 350ml of water stated in the recipe does not reach the marked minimum level, therefore the soup does not blend as it should. If you are using this version, maybe increase the other ingredients to match the extra water needed
